Adorna

Virginia de Diego (Madrid, 1983) is a visual artist, curator, and PhD cum Laude in Fine Arts (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), with the thesis The Ruin as a Replica. The Protocontemporary Moment.
Her practice explores ruin, fragment, and identity issues; being awarded by institutions such as Bildrecht (AU), Wien Kultur (AU), Ministerio de Cultura ES), or The Wassaic Project (USA). Her work has been shown at MUMOK (AU), PHOTOWIEN (AU), La Casa Encendida (ES), and PHotoESPAÑA (ES). In 2020, she founded PRESENTE, a perambulating art-window in Porto.
