Coimbra, Portugal, 1983. Sofia Pratas Morais uses photography introspectively. Since 2021, she has participated in group exhibitions, such as Mit Einer Palme Spielent, an initiative of MNAC, Entre o Sonho e a Ficção at ZDB, and Outros Mundos with Atelier de Lisboa.

She was a student at Atelier de Lisboa and at Ursel August Art Residency, and completed the first year of the Master’s in Curatorial Studies at the University of Coimbra. Sofia also holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Coimbra and a Master’s in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
