Um livro de histórias curtas (ou não) presents a round-trip journey where several narratives merge into a single account. Through a selection from the Adorna archive, Virginia de Diego projects an intertwined story between the past and its reunions; warmth, mourning, and struggle, one and all summers, some beatific figures, and a cycle that returns and unsettles us. A lost territory—geographically, temporally, and imaginatively—where memories are sealed and places inaccessible. An ode to summer as a place of emotions and, thus, a distinct realm of photography. An archaeological exercise not only of recovery but also, above all, of creation.
Featuring works by: Michael Ackerman, Dimitra Dede, Jorge Isla, Stéphane Lagoutte, Marco Rocha, Rico Schwartzberg, David Trullo, Bruno Silva and Cynthia Zahar.
