Ilias and Daphne develop a visual investigation centered on the relationship between the poetic photographic gaze, memory, and the experience of landscape. Inspired by natural phenomena, as well as the geography and topography of a given territory, the artists draw on subjective imagination as a creative tool to construct liminal visual spaces, situated between reality and evocation.

Their practice brings together different techniques and gestures of an expressionist nature, giving rise to dense and stratified compositions that seek to move beyond the limits of linear representation. In this context, the image is understood as a symbolic field onto which questions related to the human condition, the passage of time, and forms of collective consciousness are projected.
