Adorna

Stéphane Lagoutte’s photography is rooted in current affairs. He takes a unique look at society and more particularly questions related to identities and uprooting in a hostile environment. Press photographer, his studies in plastic arts will undoubtedly have helped him to transcribe his documentary vision of the world into a contemporary photography which questions the support according to the subject. His work is regularly represented at festivals such as the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie d’Arles, Visa pour l’Image, the Festival du regard or institutions such as the CNAP (National Center for Plastic Arts), the BNF (French National Library) . His work is also the subject of exhibitions in museums such as Beit Beirut (in Lebanon), the GoEun museum (South Korea) or the Niepce museum in France. He has been a member of the MYOP agency since 2009 and director of the structure since 2015.
