YORGOS YATROMANOLAKIS, artista visual

Yorgos Yatromanolakis nasceu em 1986, em Zaros, na ilha de Creta. Estudou no Departamento de Informática da Universidade Aristóteles de Salónica e vive atualmente em Atenas, onde desenvolve a sua prática artística.

É cofundador do espaço gerido por artistas Zoetrope e editor colaborador da revista Phases Magazine. A sua prática artística desenvolve-se em torno de técnicas fotográficas experimentais, processos analógicos de impressão, livros de artista e instalações audiovisuais.

O seu trabalho tem sido apresentado internacionalmente e distinguido com diversos prémios, destacando-se mais recentemente o Foam Talent Award 2020, atribuído pelo Museu de Fotografia de Amesterdão.
